Marieke Lexmond is a multi-award-winning fantasy author, solitary witch, and lifelong storyteller with a passion for all things magical. She’s spent her life chasing tales across the globe—from the Dutch Film Academy to the misty cliffs of Ireland and the spellbound streets of New Orleans.
Before conjuring The Madigan Chronicles, she honed her craft in film, shaping stories behind the camera. Now, she builds lush, immersive worlds filled with unforgettable characters, mystical intrigue, and a healthy dose of mischief. Her writing has received numerous accolades and bewitched readers who love their fantasy laced with witchcraft and wonder.
When she’s not spinning stories or crafting portals to other realms, Marieke can be found reading tarot cards, savoring beautiful meals, capturing moments with her camera, or traveling with her spirited (and often opinionated) little dogs.
